With over 15 years of experience in helping businesses grow, I’ve built a foundation of knowledge and skills related to revenue building, retention, and management.

I’ve helped entrepreneurs build up up a business, built productive teams, established new customers and markets, scaled operations with growth, and everything in between.

Building a career in sales depends on many things, one of which is being a good listener. Before all else, I seek to understand and make clear the goals of the business, and to define success. Then, leveraging my experience, technical background, and analytical skillset I work to create solutions that are understandable, measurable, and most importantly, achievable.

How I work

I believe that similar to people, no two businesses are quite the same. Therefore the best solutions to business problems aren’t necessarily the textbook ones. There are nuances and circumstances unique to each situation that it warrants an approach that is equally unique.

We start with a free 30 minute consultation to establish an understanding of where you are and where you want to go. After this consultation I prepare a high-level statement of work based on your needs and goals, and we mutually agree on the content before proceeding.

The process is simple: I help you establish what you need to do to grow where you need to grow. How that happens depends on the needs of your business.

I have worked at small ($20M) to large ($3Bn) businesses, public and private, and have been the benefactor of great leadership, management, and peer role models throughout my career. I’ve led growth in new markets, in existing markets, new products and technology, and supported the business itself throughout. One of the things I find most rewarding about my experience has been helping transfer knowledge, grow skills, and ‘do better’, and this experience is a big part of what led me to  begin my consultancy, GD & Sullivan.

The name itself is borne out of inspiration from my son, Sullivan, whose relentless positivity motivates me every day.
